For important issues and cross-cutting issues, we have established a committee organization composed of representatives from each division. Five committees have been set up, such as central technology, the environment, central operations, and public relations, and subcommittees and working groups have been established under the umbrella as needed.
The Auto-Body Industries Association handles a wide variety of models, and the issues often differ for each model. Therefore, we have established 8 divisions for each type of special vehicle, custom build vehicle, trucks, vans, trailers, buses, small vehicles, and materials. Each divisions conducts study meetings, training sessions, tours, joint development, etc. to improve quality, safety, and productivity, and also reflects opinions in legislation and administration.
In order to deal with issues unique to each region in Japan on a regional basis, we have established 9 branches in Hokkaido, Tohoku, Niigata, Kanto, Chubu, Kinki, Chugoku, Shikoku, and Kyushu. By cooperating with the Head Office, local governments, and related organizations, we contribute to the development of local industries, including activities to eradicate illegally modified vehicles and support for the business of transporting before-registration vehicles.
